Frequently Asked Questions

How Do You Keep This So Cheap?
Two ways.

  1. We have great stuff, but we limit the options. Frankly, we don’t employ coders and design specialists. We use templates and apps from other companies and save on that overhead. Plus by not offering a lot of customization, we can offer services pretty much no one else can offer.
  2. Offering website services grew out of our extensive church consulting business. We couldn’t find a website provider that offered a content update service for our small church clients. So we decided to add this option for them. However, our primary services are coaching and consulting … which means we don’t have to try and make a living from our web services.
We Have More than 200 in Worship.
Can We Use Your Services?
We’re Afraid Not

We keep our prices low because we offer a basic service. It’s a very nice basic service, but it is just the basics. The larger the church, the more services they need. Therefore, we’ve made a conscientious decision to work only with small churches.
We Started with You, But We Grew.
Do We Need to Find Another Service?
That Depends …

If you’ve grown beyond 200 in worship, we will no longer be able to provide weekly or monthly update services. However, if you want to continue having someone else make your updates, we will help connect you with someone who can offer that service directly to you. However, just because you’ve gone big doesn’t mean you have to move your website. We will still be able to offer your church hosting services at a competitive price.

Can We Use a Different Template?
Yes

If you find a standard WordPress template that you’d like to use, we will be happy to install it in place of one of our other templates. However, you will be responsible for any fees associated with using the template. In addition, we charge an additional $50 surcharge to cover the cost of research and installation.
Can We Add Additional Plugins (Apps)
Of Course

It’s your website. However, if you add an app that causes a conflict with another app or if the installation in any way cripples your website, you will be on your own to fix it. If you ask us to fix it, we will have to hire a developer to work on it on your behalf and we will have to charge you $125/hour with a two hour minimum fee payable in advance. NOTE: Only rarely do clients experience these kinds of issues, but we want you to be well informed before you customize the website on your own.
Can We Pay By Check?
Yes, provided …

You do so via PayPal or another online service. In today’s world virtually every bank offers a debit bank card with their accounts. And even though we have to pay over 3% in fees for these services, it’s less expensive for us than to manually manage payments. So please don’t send us a paper check. We will just have to return it.

Will You Provide a Domain Name
(web address)?
Yes, but …

If you don’t already own a domain name, we’ll be happy to help you get one. We’ll even help you come up with a good one. However, if we secure it for you the annual domain name fee will be added to your billing – this fee is typically $15 – $45, depending on the extension (.com, .org, .church, etc.).

Can We Add Pages?
Yes, But …

You may add pages to your website at any time. Like we’ve said, it’s your site! However, we will not be responsible for maintaining the page, adding it to the navigational menu, or troubleshooting issues caused in the creation of the page. We are willing and able to add additional pages on your behalf and add them to the navigation menu. We charge $50/page to add each additional page. However, if you ask us to fix something you break by adding your own pages, we may have to hire a developer to work on it on your behalf and we will have to charge you $125/hour with a two hour minimum fee payable in advance. NOTE: Only rarely do clients experience these kinds of issues, but we want you to be well informed before you customize the website on your own.

How Do We Upload Sermon Videos?
Easy!

We’ll help you get set up with a YouTube account (if you don’t already have one) and get familiar with uploading your videos there. Then we’ll add the links to the videos on your site. Note: We will maintain your current and immediate past sermon series on the Sermon’s page – or up to eight videos on your page. After that, we will list links to older sermons if you’d like.
